Katelyn is a proud third-generation Streamwoodite. Both sets of grandparents moved to Streamwood in the mid-70s. She and her family have been there ever since. Katelyn loves her community and is hopeful for the things to come. She knows the importance of small, local involvement and desires for others to see their opportunity to make their town a better place for everyone to thrive.
Buying a home brings stability to a family, builds wealth and connections, and establishes a sense of belonging. This is one reason why Katelyn is so passionate about homeownership. When you own your home, it is yours to invest in, care for, and share with friends and family. For children, homeownership leads to continuity in school, which leads to better school engagement and overall academic success. Owning your place is so much more than a financial decision, it is a lifestyle commitment. Katelyn is honored when she gets to enter into this journey alongside clients as they begin this new chapter in their lives.
The selling transaction can be just as monumental. This transition may be a move to bigger and better places, or an emotional time to say goodbye to a childhood home or longtime residence. Leaving not only a home, but a community, neighbors, and the comfort of familiarity can be a stressful time. Katelyn works not only to assist in a smooth transaction, but to help successfully launch clients into the next phase of life.
Katelyn is so passionate about homeownership that she chooses to invest in Fellowship Housing, a charitable organization focused on providing homes for those in need. In addition, Katelyn is an advocate for equitable and quality access to mental health for all. She serves as a board member at Family Service Association of Greater Elgin Area. She believes that mental health is health and desires to remove barriers and stigma that stands in the way of people receiving the care they need. Katelyn is committed to this vision and donates a percentage of each sale to support FSA. Together, her involvement with Fellowship Housing and FSA reveals her dedication to supporting those in her community.
Katelyn lives down the street from her alma mater Streamwood High School with her husband, Carlos, and two children, Isabella and Luca. In their free time, they love exploring outdoors, going to bookstores and libraries, trying new restaurants, and visiting family in Mexico.
Katelyn is ready to help you be #rootedlocally and achieve your real estate dreams with her core values of education, stewardship, and partnership.
What Clients Have to Say
Katelyn was incredible! We looked at SO many houses in order to find exactly what we needed and she was always upbeat, super responsive and totally understanding when we would find reasons that certain properties wouldn’t work for us. She never once made us feel like we were being unreasonable for waiting to find what we needed and wanted. You can tell that she lives for truly helping people find their dream homes and shares in their joy when they find it. She is one of a kind and I would recommend her over and over again. Thank you Katelyn! – Carolyn
“We really enjoyed working with Katelyn! She is very caring and patient. She answered all our questions, with much knowledge. The entire process went by so quickly! We went through many emotions of sadness and joy, she got us through that too. We can’t thank her enough for everything! ” – Anthony
